Vyvanse: An ADHD treatment approved for adults
Vyvanse is a long–acting stimulant medication that is approved for use in the treatment of ADHD in adults and children ages 6 to 12. In a clinical study of adults with ADHD, once-daily Vyvanse significantly improved symptoms of inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity.
- A once-a-day capsule that should be taken in the morning with or without food as prescribed by your doctor. Vyvanse is available in 20-mg, 30-mg, 40-mg, 50-mg, 60-mg, and 70-mg strengths. Your doctor may adjust the dose of Vyvanse to improve results and/or manage side effects
- Vyvanse is a federally controlled substance (CII) because it can be abused or lead to dependence. Keep Vyvanse in a safe place to prevent misuse and abuse. Selling or giving away Vyvanse may harm others and is against the law.
